GIS & Infrastructure

Infrastructure is the basic physical and organizational facilities needed for the operation of a society, which includes roads, sidewalks, energy, drains, water, etc. Sense there are many needs for different facilities there are diverse groups supplying utilities and GIS becomes a key tool in asset management and information sharing for these groups. Macomb County manages the locations and analyzes the status of these key infrastructure facilities with GIS.
