GIS & Environmental

Environmental data includes watersheds, floodplains, tree canopy, water quality of the rivers, lakes and streams, habitats, ecosystems, pollution, and conservation. Macomb County actively supports improving, conserving, and protecting our environment through partnerships and initiatives like the Green Macomb Initiative and Blue Economy Initiative. We use GIS to create maps showing the management and status of the environment in Macomb County for decision making and planning.
